What does therapy look like?

See some examples of activities we use within occupational therapy sessions on the images within our website.

Therapy usually occurs at school or kindy in a seperate space to the classroom, with a combination of inside and outside play, or at the young person’s home.

Some areas we commonly work on are:

Sensory Integration – Helping clients understand their sensory needs and develop strategies for home, school, work, and the community.

😊 Emotional Regulation – Identifying triggers and learning techniques to stay calm and focused.

💪 Fine Motor Skills – Strengthening small muscles for everyday tasks like tying shoelaces, using utensils, and handwriting.

✍️ Handwriting Support – Improving posture, core strength, and letter formation for clearer, more confident writing.

🏃 Gross Motor Skills – Enhancing coordination, body awareness, and strength for activities like ball skills and movement planning.

🗣️ Social Skills – Navigating friendships, understanding social cues, and building self-advocacy.

💛 Confidence & Well-being – Using mindfulness and relaxation techniques to reduce anxiety and build self-awareness.

Our sessions are always fun, meaningful, and tailored to each person’s needs and interests. Let’s work together to achieve your therapy goals! 🎉
